Paper FAFSA
Students may request a paper FAFSA from the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243). The TTY for the hearing impaired is 1-800-730-8913; and the number for students without access to the toll-free line is 319-337-5665. Students also may complete their FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center and dictating their answers over the phone.
Counselors who work with students who do not have access to the Internet or phone service may download PDF FAFSAs and print them out for their students. Alternatively, those counselors may order paper FAFSAs at www.FSAPubs.gov.
Note: The final paper FAFSA is usually printed between late December and late January; watch our “What’s New” section on the home page of this site for an announcement.
